WebUp .ME competition is being organized as a part of Web Fest .ME festival. The goal of WebUp.ME Competition is to select a best web start-up company founded after May 2011 and give it an opportunity to present itself at Disrupt TechCrunch 2013 in New York in May 2013.

The desire of Domen d.o.o.  from Podgorica, General Partner of the festival, and Web Fest d.o.o. from Belgrade, the organizers of the festival, is to provide the companies from the region of ex-Yu to get a shot to show the prowess of the companies from this part of the world to the global audience but the competition is for the best wherever they come from and is OPEN TO COMPANIES FROM ALL OF OVER THE WORLD.

Right of entry have all the companies who have been founded after May 2011 and have not had an investment larger than two million US dollars.

It is necessary to present a FUNCTIONAL prototype of the product or / business and have it up and running by September 10 2012 when we will be closing the application process.

The project / business must be described in two A4 pages (8000 characters in total).

Preselection process will be over by September 10 2012 when we will select the ten best applications and invite them to present their projects on September 20 in First Stage of Competition at the Web Fest .ME Conference.

The finalists will have to confirm their participation by September 15 2012. The failure to do so will result in disqualification and the lucky looser will be invited to take their place.

First stage of competition will be held on September 20 2012 during the first day of Web Fest .ME Conference. The competitiors will have 3 minutes to present their projects. The jury will then select the three finalists.

Grand finale will be held on the second day of the Web Fest .ME Conference on September 21 2012. They will have three (3) minutes each to show why they are the best and deserve the WebUp.ME award.

Announcement of the WInner of the WebUp.ME Competition will be held on the same day as the finals on September 21 2012 t the closing ceremony of the Conference
